Special guest Andrew Laue, LCSW, will introduce his work on resiliency training for human service workers at risk of experiencing secondary trauma, for example, when dealing with a community trauma such as flooding. The acronym for this training is “STAR-T” – Secondary Trauma Activates Resiliency – Training.
